A MUSIC venue is holding an open day to fill the final places of an apprenticeship scheme for young music fans.
The Forum music centre, in Borough Road, Darlington, is inviting youngsters dreaming of a career in music to its event on Saturday.
The venue has teamed up with national training organisation Access to Music to create music apprenticeships.
The first course starts in July with a second intake later in the year. The advanced apprenticeship in event production and management will give participants core skills in a wide range of areas such as organising events, live sound engineering, stage management and music production.
Apprentices will benefit from business skills training enabling them to set up a company or be self-employed.
The open day is from 11am to 2pm. For details, call 01325363135 or email info@theforumonline.co.uk
