A PARISH council has decided not to review its wind farm policy, but will invite developers to talk at its next meeting.
Sadberge Parish Council adopted a wind farms addendum to its parish plan in 2008 to oppose any wind farms near the village.
It also asked for various planning conditions to be imposed if Darlington Borough Council approved any bids.
At the end of last year, the council's planning committee rejected an application by Banks Renewables for ten turbines at Moor House Farm, to the north-east of Darlington.
The company is considering a fresh application or an appeal. Another firm, Pure Renewable Energy, is due to submit plans for four turbines at East and West Newbiggin, following public consultation.
Sadberge parish councillors agreed at its last meeting not to review its parish plan following a meeting with local opposition group Seven Parishes Action Group.
Banks Renewables will also present its revised proposals to a number of interested parties, including a parish council representative, tomorrow.
The firm will be invited to speak on the proposals next month's February meeting.
