AN electrical contractor has applied to convert a disused bakery into new storage and office space.
Plans for the site in Park Place, Darlington, have been submitted to the borough council's planning department.
The applicants, Camco Electrical Contractors, want to turn the former bakery into a signmakers. Four staff would be employed at the site.
The application said there would be few changes to the building except to remove a ground floor window and replace it with a sliding door for loading purposes.
