A PLAYGROUP has been given new equipment, to the delight of its children.
Whessoe Parish Council donated a 'mirror house' to St Mark's pre-school playgroup.
The toy allows the children to walk inside a mirrored structure, and is designed to stimulate their imagination, while boosting communication skills.
Children from Whessoe Parish use the playgroup and the council wanted to put something back into the facility.
Playgroup manager Christine Nicholson said: "The children and staff are so grateful to Whessoe Parish Council for the new piece of equipment.
"It will give the children so much enjoyment in finding out about themselves and providing them with new stimulating experiences."
