A SKA band from Darlington are to celebrate their 21st birthday with a special show later this month.

The G Men mark the special occasion with a headlining show at The Forum, Borough Road, on Friday, January 29.

The group will be supported by two other ska bands, The Rough Kutz from Stoke and a local band called The Equalisers, who will be making their stage debut.

The G Men were formed in Darlington in 1989, and since then have played shows all over the UK and at festivals in Europe.

The group have supported ska legends including Bad Manners, Desmond Dekker and Neville Staple from The Specials during their time together.

The band plan to head back into the studio later this year to record tracks for a new album.
