A PARISH council has drafted a letter for villagers to inform planning officers of their objections to a proposed wind farm.
Sadberge Parish Council is set to oppose plans for a wind farm including ten turbines, on land at Moor House Farm, to the north-east of Darlington.
At a parish meeting in December, residents unanimously backed the plans to object to the wind farm.
The parish council has drafted a letter on its website for residents to write to the borough council's planning team.
Reasons for objection including the impact on the landscape, noise problems, effect on house prices and because of a lack of information about the cumulative impact of wind farms on the Tees Valley.
Banks Developments, a County Durham firm, is behind the plans for the wind farm on land to the north-east of Darlington.
It would be the first wind farm in the borough and support between 11,000 and 14,000 homes.
