Darlington have today signed two more players to take their January arrivals total up to five.
The latest to join Steve Staunton’s ever-changing squad are striker Patrick Dean from Hibernian and midfielder Gareth Waite from Spennymoor Town.
Dean, an Irish 19-year-old striker, came throught the youth ranks with Hibernian but has not played in the first-team.
Waite, 27, was Spennymoor's player of the year last season and has previously had trials with Shrewsbury Town and Seattle Sounders in the USA.
Yesterday Staunton brought in defender Simon Madden from Shamrock Rovers.
Quakers are still awaiting the paperwork to completed on all three deals, but the trio are expected to be able to make their debut in tomorrow’s home game with Aldershot Town.
Also available tomorrow will be last week's signings Irish duo Tadgh Purcell and Gary Dempsey.
January's five arrivals take the number of players signed by Staunton's since he was appointed in October up to 18.
Should all five players make their debut against Aldershot they would take the number of players used by Quakers this season to 46.
Meanwhile, out of favour Rikki Baines is to join Blue Square Premier side Gateshead on loan for the rest of the season.
The defender, signed in the summer by Colin Todd, recently spent a short loan spell with Blyth Spartans.
