THE number of cyclists in Darlington's Pedestrian Heart increased in 2009 according to council figures.
A cordon count for January, April and October shows year-on-year increases with July figures falling.
A report on cycling, including accident statistics and other incidents, will be made to the council's economy and environment scrutiny committee on Thursday at 9.30am in the town hall.
