Gary Smith returns to the side for Darlington's FA Cup clash at Barnet today as one of two changes.

The midfielder returns after missing two games with a knee injury, and he takes the place of Jamie Chandler who drops to the bench.

Also in the starting line-up is teenager Corey Barnes who is selected as a replacement for right-back Paul Arnison who drops to the bench having been subbed at half-time during last week's 2-1 defeat at Hereford United.

There is still no place for Mark Bower as he continues his return from injury while new signing Nathan Mulligan is cup-tied having played for Norton earlier in the competition.

Striker Mor Diop is again on the bench for Darlington, who are wearing an all-white kit for the first time this season, while youth team defender Dan Burn is also named among the substitutes.

The teams met two weeks ago at Underhill with Barnet winning a match noted for some rough challenges. Ian Miller left the field with concussion and he has still not recovered so misses out today, while Barnet's Gary Breen required stitches after jumping for a high ball with Quakers' James Collins.

In today's programme Bees manager Ian Hendon has described Collins' challenge as being described “malicious”, a move which is sure to anger Darlington manager Steve Staunton who has previously said the clash was accidental.

There will be a minutes silence before the game in recognition of Remembrance Day and both teams will be wearing poppies on their shirts.
