A SPECIAL thanksgiving and remembrance service for babies who were killed at birth will take place this weekend.
The service will be held in the chapel at Darlington Memorial Hospital on Sunday, November 1, at 3pm.
Families who have lost a baby are welcome to attend, especially those who have suffered a miscarriage or stillbirth, to remember their baby.
The theme of this years service is Light. There will be an opportunity for families to light candles to remember their babies.
The chaplaincy team and nursing staff at County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust are organising the annual service.
