TWO boys from Darlington hit the right note by triumphing over hundreds of aspiring actors to be selected as pantomime stars.
Sam Hardy, 11, and Markus Person, ten, both from Darlington, were chosen to be in Peter Pan, at Sunderland’s Empire Theatre, after successfully coming through the Search For A Star Auditions.
Kevin Wood, chief executive of First Family Entertainment, who are producing the panto, said: "The search was a great way to encourage kids to practice, play and perform - attributes at the very heart of childhood. Inspiring local children to get involved is a brilliant way to celebrate those childhood stories that we cherish - even as adults."
