THOUSANDS of primary school children will be given talks on safety around over the next couple of weeks.
Darlington Borough Council, Durham Fire Brigade and Darlington Police will be delivering talks across the town which aim to teach little ones how to stay safe during Bonfire Night festivities.
Darlingtons display will be provided by Alchemy Fireworks this year and will feature fireworks and visual effects to music. The display will have something of a space theme as 2009 is the 40th anniversary of mans landing on the moon.
Jounrey Through Space: A Fireworks Spectacular will be held in South Park on Saturday, October 31. Gates open at 6pm with the bonfire lit at 7pm and fireworks at 7.30pm.
