A CHARITY is offering free dyslexia screenings in Darlington next month.
To mark Dyslexia Awareness Week, 50 free screenings are being offered in Darlington by Dyslexia Action between Monday, November 2, and Monday, November 9.
The places will be allocated to the first 50 people who contact the charity during that week.
The group offers free information, advice and guidance for dyslexic adults, young people and parents at any time of the year.
Jenny Lee, Dyslexia Action's national adult dyslexia coordinator, said dyslexic people learn differently.
“Different approaches work best for different types of dyslexia,” she said. “An assessment will help sort out what your areas of strength and weakness are and what will work best for you.”
