A BICYCLE has been stolen from outside a bookmakers while the owner was inside the shop.
The blue and silver Falcon Nevada bicycle was taken from outside the Ladbrokes outlet next to Haughton Workingmen's Club, Haughton, Darlington, on Friday, October 16, between 7.30pm and 7.40pm.
Sgt Daryl Edmonds, from the East beat team, said police were appealing for witnesses, particularly one who had seen the bike and warned the owner that there were a number of children near the store at the time of the incident.
