SEASON ticket prices at Darlington have been frozen for the new season.
Prospective new chairman Raj Singh, who is in the process of taking over the club, has also introduced a new incentive.
The Quaker Club will enable the first 1,500 adults buying season tickets this summer to enjoy the same price for three seasons.
Darlington, still in the process of coming out of administration, are now in a position to start taking applications for season tickets, and are sending out application packs to existing holders.
Singh has also frozen matchday prices, while introducing the Quaker Club scheme, which is also offering free season tickets to Under- 10s (with a full paying adult).
The new prices mean adults will save £134 on the cost of match tickets over the course of the season, while a family of four can save more than £500 over the year.
Singh said: “Freezing prices was the most realistic option all-round. We recognise the climate we’re in, and we want to make football as affordable as we possibly can.
“But our fans understand the club’s situation as well, and I’m sure they recognise that we have a business to run.
“Everyone knows that season ticket sales are absolutely crucial to the club’s cash flow, and to enable us to plan for the coming season, so we’re urging our fans to buy their season tickets as soon as possible.
“We’re trying to restructure the club so that we don’t get into the same kind of mess we’re getting ourselves out of right now.
“That covers a lot of behindthe- scenes areas, like the way our matchday hospitality is run, but on the face of it ticket sales offer the most important and obvious revenue stream.
“Our fans have heard enough rallying causes to last them a lifetime, but this is new to us and that’s why we’ve introduced the threeyear loyalty scheme.
“Supporters can be assured that every single penny of their money will go directly back into the club’s coffers.”
Prices for the first 1,500 people applying for season tickets are £280 adults, £175 concessions, £90 under-16s, under-10s free and £630 family tickets.
Following the first 1,500, prices will jump to £300 adults, £195 concessions, £99 under-16s, £49 under-10s and £675 families.
Match prices offer early bird tickets at £16 adults, £10 concessions, £6 under-16s, £3 under-10s and £40 for a family ticket. Matchday tickets will be priced £18 adults, £12 concessions, £8 under-16s, £5 under-10s and £45 families.
The free Under-10s tickets apply to one free child place per full paying adult for the first 1,500 season ticket applicants.
A new corporate season ticket package has also been launched. Part of the changes include two new memberships for corporate fans.
A section of the South stand (block 7, row 13 upwards) will now be allocated to the Platinum Club, with the aim of attracting new corporate customers and sponsors.
It does mean, however, that the club will have to relocate about 20 season ticket holders to seats nearby.
Meanwhile, another area of the South stand (block 9, row 13 and upwards) will now be allocated to a new Ron Greener membership, which is available only as an extra to a normal season ticket, costing £50 for adults and £25 for children (subject to availability).
Supporters currently in this area will be offered priority to the Ron Greener Membership, and for them the package will be complimentary for the 2009-10 season.
Should they not wish to be part of the membership, supporters will be offered seats in another area close by.
Non-members will have access to the main concourse areas and also the bars on the exterior of the stadium, but there will no longer be free and unlimited access to the Ron Greener Lounge or internal corridors.
