DOG owners are being invited to a family fun day which has moved to a new venue this year.
The Dogs Trust Darlington's annual fun day will be held in South Park, Darlington, on Sunday, June 28.
The event, which runs from 12noon to 4pm, is normally held at the Sadberge rehoming centre but has moved to South Park for the first time.
Attractions include dog microchipping, a dog show, raffles, tombolas, a dog agility course, face painting and a climbing wall.
Darlington mayor Councillor Jim Ruck and his wife Margaret will judge the best in show category at 3pm.
Sue Embleton, Dogs Trust Darlington centre manager, said: "All money raised on the day will go towards caring for the dogs at our centre.
"We never put a healthy dog to sleep and dogs stay in our care for as long as is necessary to find their perfect home."
The event will be free although donations are welcome. For more details contact 01325-333114.
