AN expensive bicycle has been taken from outside a fish and chip shop in Darlington.

The bike was stolen from outside Jazz's Fish bar on North Road on June 9 between 5pm and 5.15pm.

The bike has been built up using expensive parts.

The frame is a GT Chucker 12inch to 14inch frame made by Ford which has been sprayed bright orange.

The brakes are Clarks which is a hydraulic system with braided silver hoses.

The callipers and levers are also made by Clarks.

The discs on the front and rear are 190mm in diameter and have 190 engraved on them.

It is a single speed bike with no gears.

The pedals have DMR on the crank and pedal.

The wheels are Max high rollers which have orange paint on them.

There is also Chucker custom sticker on the bike which is black in colour.

PC Gary McLean said: "The cycle went missing at a time when there would have been a lot of people around in North Road and if anyone remembers seeing the distinctive-looking machine I would urge them to get in touch with us."
