Darlington defender Alan White has today left his hometown team to rejoin former club Luton Town.
The 33-year-old centre-back joined Quakers in 2007 from Notts County and was a first-choice alongside Steve Foster throughout his time with the club.
But he has today become the fifth player to leave Darlington since the end of the season following the exits of Ricky Ravenhill, Jason Kennedy, Rob Purdie and Ryan Valentine.
At Luton, who will be in the Blue Square Premier next season, White will be in the same squad as fellow Darlington-born player Tom Craddock. And White will also team up with Liam Hatch who joined the Hatters last week.
It will be White's second spell with Luton having also played for them between 1997 and 2000.
White is unlikely to be the last to leave The Northern Echo Darlington Arena this summer.
Right-back Neil Austin last week held talks with Hartlepool United while Pawel Abbott remains wanted at both Hearts and Oldham Athletic.
