RESIDENTS in Darlington can have their financial questions answered by a local money MOT service.
The Darlington Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) have launched a 'Money Made Clear' initiative.
The free service offers advice on mortgages, insurance, pensions, savings and general budgeting.
Trained staff will provide impartial guidance and all meetings are treated as confidential.
Staff from Darlington CAB hope the service will prevent people from falling into economic hardship during the recession.
Service manager Neeraj Sharma said: "The service aims to give people the confidence they need to take the next step in planning their future.
"It's about unravelling all the complicated jargon that can go with money matters."
Appointments can be made by contacting Darlington CAB on 01325 256999.
