ADMINISTRATORS acting on behalf of Darlington Football Club have confirmed they have received offers for the cash-strapped club.
Brackenbury Clark and Co, who were appointed as administrators in February, set a deadline of today for offers for the club.
Dave Clark, from the administrators, has confirmed he has received at least one offer for the club.
He said more details would be released later today but would not be able to give any names.
Mr Clark told The Northern Echo last week that the deadline could be moved and that exceptional offers could be accepted after the deadline.
Darlington FC was placed in administration on February 25 by former chairman George Houghton.
He said he had no alternative to take the decision because otherwise he would have had to close the club because of the size of its debts.
The ten-point penalty for going into administration effectively ended the clubs best hopes of promotion in nearly 20 years.
