DRUGS teams and trained dogs searched customers at six pubs and clubs as part of an ongoing operation to weed out illegal substances.
The raids, conducted by police officers in Darlington performing Operation Nimrod, were as a result of public information.
The teams entered six licensed premises in Darlington on Friday evening but found no drugs. No arrests were made.
Sgt Dave Kirton, from the team, said community neighbourhood policing teams conducted the searches after tip offs were made by the public.
Officers taking part in Operation Nimrod have conducted several raids, the most recent of which involved more than 120 officers early on Wednesday morning. More than a dozen arrests were made and a cannabis farm uncovered.
