JUNIOR school pupils were put through their paces by their village police officer.
PC Julian Brown visited young pupils at Hurworth House School with a former pupil, who has started police training.
PC Brown spoke to the children about the role he plays within the village. He was accompanied by Simon Spellman, who recently graduated from Northumbria University. Pupils also had a chance to sit behind the wheel of PC Brown's police car.
