TALENTED artists from Darlington's biggest arts collective held their annual awards ceremony.
Members of the Darlington Society of Arts received their awards from the Mayor, Councillor Marian Swift.
Among the winners was Colin Mackenzie, who won the Betty Hyman award for painting excellence, and Sara MacIntosh, who won the craft award.
Society of Arts chairwoman Brenda Churchman said: "We give out awards for the best work done by our members each year.
"We have more than 150 members all together, so the competition is always good.
"We are always open to new members, so anybody who would be interested in taking part should get in touch."
The group meets on Wednesdays, at 7.30pm, at Darlington Arts Centre. For more information, contact Ms Churchman on 01325-469569.
