AN animal rescue charity is looking for a home for an 11-month-old puppy.
Rula, a rottweiler-boxer cross, was given up by her owner because he was ill and could no longer take care of her.
The National Animal Sanctuaries Support League, near Darlington, is looking to rehome the puppy, who is described as "adorable".
Although she is good with children, as Roxy is a large dog, potential new homes would not have children under ten-years-old.
As with any young dog, Roxy should not be left for more than four hours at a time. She is fine with children, cats and other dogs. She has been spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped.
Pauline Wilson, of the charity, said: "You couldn't wish for a nicer-natured dog. She is absolutely adorable.
"She's very people-orientated and loves cuddles and love. She's a very friendly dog and we just want to find the perfect family for her so she can really blossom."
Anyone who is interested in owning Roxy is asked to call Ms Wilson on 01325-321855 or 07748-268822.
