A TEAM of ten teenagers from a Darlington school have defeated their counterparts from across the North in an Army challenge.
The group, from Branksome School, picked up the winner's shield after the challenge, in York.
They undertook a series of physical activities, including a zip wire, obstacle course and mountain bike challenge, as well as passing a general knowledge quiz. They were up against 26 other schools from across the North-East and Yorkshire.
The team, led by PE teacher Michael Hillary, were Jamie Dresser, Adam Cornwell, Matthew Burton, Michael Johnstone, Callum Crawford, Sophie Dowson, Rachel Binks, Anna Tupling, Emma Stephen and Leigh Hancock.
