DARLINGTON have today signed Fulham goalkeeper Corrin Brooks-Meade in a month-long emergency loan deal and he will be on the bench tonight when Quakers face Rochdale.
He arrives as cover for David Stockdale who sustained a shoulder injury in training last Friday and missed Saturday's draw with Peterborough United.
That meant a recall for Andy Oakes but, despite the best efforts of manager Dave Penney, he was unable to bring in cover in time so youngster Scott Pocklington had to sit on the bench.
However, that role tonight be taken by Brooks-Meade who is yet to make a first-team appearance for Fulham but has played for their reserve side and earlier this year was on loan at Lewes in the Conference South.
