TWO kittens, discovered under the floorboards of a derelict house, are looking for a home.
Ten-week-old Holly and Bramble were found in the house by a couple looking to renovate the property.
After hearing noises coming from beneath the floor, they discovered the kittens in a dishevelled state.
They were taken to the National Animal Sanctuaries Support League, at Burdon Grange, near Darlington.
Pauline Wilson, from the animal rescue home, said: "They make a very sweet pair, typical chocolate box kittens.
"It would be lovely for them to go to the same home as whenever we see them they are always playing together."
