DARLINGTON MOWDEN PARK will stage their annual Armed Forces Day game this Saturday when they host Plymouth at The Northern Echo Arena.
Mowden will donate £1 from every adult ticket sold for the game to Armed Forces and veterans charities including Help for Heroes and the Royal British Legion.
The club are also offering free tickets to all Armed Forces personnel and veterans. Pre-booking is not required, with service personnel and veterans simply having to show their military ID at the turnstile to gain free admission.
Saturday's game will be preceded by a range of military exhibits as regiments from across the region bring vehicles and capability exhibits. The exhibit will be open to the public from 1.30pm and is free of charge.
Mowden director of rugby Danny Brown said: "We hope that as many people as possible will come along on Saturday to support some extremely worthy causes. It's a way for us to give back to those who have served our country."
