A PRIMARY school pupil who celebrated every first at a nursery has returned to see his old friends.
Four-year-old Robbie Wallace took time out from his schooling at Firthmoor Primary School to return to Maidendale House nursery, in Darlington.
Robbie was ten months old when he became the first child on the books of the nursery, now called Maidendale and Dodmire Children's Centre.
He later officially opened the nursery, in 2004, and celebrated the first Christmas and first birthday with staff.
He left the nursery earlier this year to start school.
Nursery manager Glenis Harrison said she wanted to invite him back to celebrate his time at the nursery.
She said: "We couldn't let this milestone go without marking it."
She said Robbie and his family helped at the nursery, including with computing and fundraising.
