A WEEK-LONG series of activities will be held by a Darlington group to celebrate a national event.
Age Concern, in Darlington, will host several events under the banner Living Life to the Full during Age Concern Week, from Saturday.
Events will include a trip Locomotion: The National Railway Museum, at Shildon, on Tuesday, September 25, costing £1.95 per place.
Free talks will take place at 11am and 1pm on Thursday, September 27, in Bradbury House, Beaumont Street. Vivien Clear will talk about her mother's life in South Africa in the Thirties and Forties. There will also be a flower arranging demonstration that afternoon.
The 50+ Lifestyle Age group will run its usual activities. Call 01325-362832 for details.
