KIND readers have been picking up information about a charity in a Darlington library.
Staff and volunteers from Marie Curie Cancer Care set up an information stall in Darlington's Crown Street library yesterday.
They provided information about the organisation, including fundraising possibilities and history of the charity. Linda McDonough, fundraising manager for the area, said: "We are showing people how they could support us, the volunteering opportunities we have and the forthcoming events that are taking place.
"We are always asking for support, for people to collect daffodils or tins, or who could organise their own events and support groups."
The team will be at the library again on Thursday and Friday to man the stall for other people interested in Marie Curie Cancer Care.
