DARLINGTON proved their promotion credentials with a 2-0 win at Rotherham United.
Goals either side of half-time from Pawel Abbott and Gregg Blundell ensured all three points at Millmoor as Quakers claimed their third win of the season.
In what manager Dave Penney described as Darlington's toughest game of the campaign so far, the visitors brushed their opponents to the side with two clincial finishes.
First Abbott slotted past Millers goalkeeper Andy Warrington in the tenth minute after latching on to a Julian Joachim pass.
And Joachim turned provider again, this time cross for substitute Blundell, who headed home at the back post.
