A TEENAGER is celebrating being the best of a pretty good bunch.
Charlotte Clewlow, 16, won the prize for the best GCSE results at Hurworth School.
Charlotte achieved 12 A*s, including one in a short course. She achieved one of the top five French marks in the country aged just 13 - her mother is French, she used to speak in the language to her great-grandmother, who did not speak English.
A year later, Charlotte also bagged an A* in art. After her latest achievements, Charlotte will study A Levels at the Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College, Darlington.
This year, 96 per cent of Hurworth pupils scored five A* to C grade passes.
