YOUNG football stars of the future were put through their paces at a fun day yesterday.
McNay Street Children's Centre, in Darlington, held a stay and play afternoon to showcase its facilities.
Children were treated to an array of entertainment.
They played football and basketball, sped around on trikes and jumped around on a bouncy castle and inflatable tunnel.
The Zone Active project also ran other sports activities in the nearby railway museum field. Darlington Learning Disabilities Service provided a barbecue and refreshments for guests.
The centre provides facilities for families with children under five-years-old in the McNay Street area.
