THE company behind plans to convert a house at Cleveland Avenue, Darlington, into two blocks of flats has appealed against Darlington Borough Council's decision to refuse planning permission.
Watford-based Kebbell Homes has drawn up blueprints for the 15-flat complex at a detached home close to the former site of Darlington College of Technology.
The developers hope to create two three-storey blocks, with two flats per floor, and room for 21 parking spaces outside.
Each apartment is designed with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a lounge, kitchen and hallway.
The appeal will be discussed at the council's planning committee meeting on Thursday, at the town hall, in Feethams, Darlington.
