DESIGN students have left their mark after being commissioned to work on a professional publication.
First year National Diploma in Art and Design students from Darlington College were asked to come up with the graphics for an education brochure.
Darlington Partnership approached the college to see if their budding designers could create a brochure for the learning and culture partnership, promoting community courses for adults.
College tutor Pippa Eeles said: "They had just six weeks to come up with designs using a specific colour palate and fonts. The standard of work was very high."
A combination of two designs was chosen from students Kimberley Knowles and Hannah McCallum.
Kimberley, who wants to be a fashion designer, said: "It was exciting working on a project for a real client and I was pleased to be chosen."
