A DOG training club held its annual show at the weekend.
Skernedale Dog Training Club ran its Companion Dog Show at Hurworth Community Centre on Sunday with a range of awards on offer.
The event helped to raise £900 for The Cinnamon Trust, a charity that looks after pets of older people, The Jerry Green Foundation, at Thirsk, and The Cats Orphanage, at Billingham.
Results were:
Breed classes: Jennifer Burton, from Darlington, with Freddy; Adrienne Callister, from Yarm, with Red; Adrienne Callister, from Yarm, with Indie; Paul Mackenzie, from Middleton St George, with Tia. Best in show was Red. Reserve best in show was Tara.
Fun classes: Claire Blakemore, from Stockton, with George; Carolyn Evans, from Billingham, with Harry; Louise Stoker, from Hartlepool, with Toddy; June Sowerby, from Darlington, with Sooty; Briony Hodgson, from Ferryhill, with Danny; Valerie Porter, from Middleton St George, with Spike; John Hardcastle, from Darlington, with Millie; Kayleigh Moss, from Darlington, with Borris; Claire Blakemore, from Stockton, with Oliver; Valerie Porter, from Middleton St George with Spike; Sarah Dixon, from Morpeth, with Rubie and Evie.
Obedience classes: Dot Marshall, from Yarm; Pauline Moore, from Egglescliffe; Brian Keenan from Acklam.
