JUDGES are to visit four villages in the Tees Valley as they compete for the title of village of the year.
In the competition, organised by Tees Valley Rural Community Council (TVRCC), the villages of Sadberge, Thorpe Thewles, Middleton St George and Moorsholm compete against each other.
The contenders will have one hour to showcase their village and impress the judging panel.
The winner will be revealed at the end of the month and prizes will be presented next month.
The successful village will represent the county in the Village of the Year for England competition. For more information on the competition, visit the website www.calorvillageoftheyear.org
