CHILDREN at a Darlington primary school have worked with a local artist to produce a mosaic.
Artist Petra Lloyd, a former graphic artist at The Northern Echo, worked with children at St Augustine's RC Primary School to produce a mosaic of St Augustine - an important figure in the development of Christianity.
The children had regular sessions in to produce the mosaic.
It was unveiled to pupils, parents, staff and governors at a assembly on Friday, May 25.
It will be displayed in the school's entrance.
