A GRADE II-listed Victorian house in Darlington is to be redeveloped into flats.
Academy Homes Ltd plans to convert Neasham House into two apartments, with a further nine flats in an extension to be built in the back garden.
The building, at the south end of Grange Road next to South Park, was built in the early 1800s, and was once owned by Thomas Pease, nephew of railways pioneer Joseph Pease.
Plans are on display in Darlington town hall and the council will decide on the planning application in the next eight weeks.
