ADULT learners in Darlington are being given more opportunities after a college launched new adult courses.
To tie-in with Adult Learners' Week, a national initiative to highlight and encourage adults to return to learning, Darlington's Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College will unveil its plans for adult learning.
At an open afternoon at the college, advice and guidance will be available to prospective learners.
The college is offering one-year access to university and access to English literature courses.
From September, people can take a short course in mentoring and an art appreciation course called Public Parts, Private Places. The open afternoon will take place from 1.30pm to 3pm tomorrow.
People who cannot attend can call 01325-461-315 or visit www. qeliz.ac.uk
