A THREE-day music festival is to take place in Teesdale this weekend.
Organisers behind the Full Throttle festival hope to attract about 400 revellers for a weekend of music and camping for a second year running.
The announcement of the festival, organised by Pass To The Left promotions, marks a successful second year of the Bishop Auckland music collective.
The festival will take place at the Malt Shovel, Low Wham, near Butterknowle, which already has licensing and camping facilities.
It will showcase many rock and indie bands from around the North-East including Tripdash and Gimpfished, both from Bishop Auckland.
The production company was formed by Glen Lowes, 22 and Tom Fawcett, 19, both from Bishop Auckland who have organised more than 100 gigs in the town.
Mr Lowes said: "We wanted to give local bands the chance to play at a real festival, over 200 people turned up last year and we think this year will be even more popular.
"We are really excited about hosting the second festival, it will be a great weekend for all who attend."
Tickets cost £25 and includes two days camping. The music starts at 3pm on Friday, and ends on Sunday, at 11pm.
Tickets can be purchased from The Sportsman Inn, Market Place, Bishop Auckland. For more details visit www.passtotheleft.com or www.myspace.com/passtotheleftpromotionsandrecoreds
