FOUR walkers completed the three peaks challenge to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
Father and son Stuart and Michael Colclough and friends Steve Allenby and Andy Bamber completed the expedition in less than a day.
The team, all from Darlington, climbed Snowdon, Scafell and Ben Nevis in 18 hours, combined with six hours' driving between the peaks on May 4 and 5.
Their efforts helped to raise £1,500 for Cancer Research UK.
Stuart Colclough said: "It wasn't too bad because we had done a lot of training for it. Three of us are all in our 40s and we weren't used to the walking but we had done enough training."
They chose to raise money for the charity because his mother, Margaret, died from cancer.
