HUNDREDS of people enjoyed the fun of the fair as a community centre celebrated Christmas.
Firthmoor Community Centre, in Darlington, hosts a free annual Christmas event that attracts up to 800 people and traders from across the North East for its festive market.
As well as the chance to buy Christmas gifts, visitors also enjoyed pony rides, inflatables and a visit from Santa.
The centre's canteen also provided Christmas lunch.
Kevin Nicholson, who runs the community centre, said the event was always popular with the community and residents from across Darlington.
"There are dozens of kids waiting to meet Father Christmas and this is the seventh year we've had him visit us. It's a really popular event that brings the community together and it's one of the biggest things we do all year."
