St Neots Town 3 Darlington 1
Liam Hatch's early sending off meant Darlington played with only ten men for most of the match and put in determined display, but it was not enough to avoid a 3-1 defeat at St Neots Town.
Hatch saw red having tangled with Ryan Frater in Quakers’ penalty area, and it is understood the Quakers player struck the St Neots defender.
Despite playing with ten men there was little between the teams, but a flurry of goals midway through the second half, beginning with a fabulous curling effort on 70 minutes by Lewis Hilliard, saw the hosts win the second round qualifying tie.
