DOGS Trust Darlington is gearing up for an extra special funday this year to celebrate the 20th anniversary of its Sadberge rehoming centre.
The event takes place at South Park on Sunday, July 20 and will feature a variety of attractions including fundraising stalls, private sellers and activities for children and dogs.
It will run between noon and 4pm and will also include the popular Dogs Trust fun dog show, and free microchipping.
To ensure it can raise as much funds as possible, the charity has issued an urgent appeal ahead of the event for prize donations.
It is in particular need of prizes for its raffle and its two tombolas and Dogs Trust supporter relations officer, Rebecca McKeown says: “Our Annual Fun Day raises vital funds for the lovely dogs at the rehoming centre allowing us to care for them until we find them a forever home of their own.
“We’d be so grateful to receive any donations for the tombolas or raffle prizes such as a hamper of goodies or a spa day.”
If any local companies or individuals are able to donate gift items for the adult tombola, unopened toys/games for the children’s tombola, or prizes for the raffle, they can be taken to the rehoming centre at Hill House Farm, Sadberge, or call 01325 333114.
