QUAKERS fans will be able to get their hands on the new Darlington FC replica home shirt tomorrow (Friday, June 27).
They will be available from Quaker Retail at Blackwell Meadows from 10am and the club has extended the shop’s opening time to 8pm to enable more people the chance to bag one.
The shirt’s design was chosen by fans in a poll at the end of last season and the kit is again sponsored by the Cosyseal Group.
Players Gary Brown and Leon Scott have modelled the new shirt and are both excited about the challenges the new season will bring.
Brown said: “All the lads are looking forward to pre-season and can’t wait to get started again.
“When Leon and I called into Blackwell Meadows today to do the photo, it was great seeing plenty of fans buying season tickets and I urge all those fans that haven’t yet got their season ticket to have a trip down to the club shop and buy one”.
Scott added: “The new shirt looks and feels great.
“The new season can’t come soon enough and we will all be determined to go that one step better next season and our aim will be to win the league.”
As the club announced in May, the green away replica shirt showing the Great North Air Ambulance Service logo will also be available to buy in the next few weeks, the exact date of which will be available shortly.
Further details and announcements regarding other pre-season plans will be confirmed on www.darlington1883.co.uk
