Tickets go on sale tomorrow for Darlington’s pre-season friendly with Sunderland at Heritage Park.
The game, against the Black Cats’ first team, takes place on Saturday, July 19 and tickets will be on sale from Quaker Retail at Blackwell Meadows to all fully paid 2014-15 season ticket applicants on a first come, first served basis.
A statement released by Darlington today reads: “This game will kick-off SAFC’s pre-season preparations and is a special ‘Return to Darlington’ fundraising game and as such, ticket prices are one-off – adult tickets being priced at £12 and under 16s and over 60s just £6.
“Due to the significant demand from both sides, this fixture will be all-ticket and, after discussions with officials at Sunderland FC, it has been agreed that tickets will not be made available online.
“Any unsold tickets from Darlington FC’s allocation of 750 as at close of business on Monday 30 June 2014 will be made available to non-season ticket applicants from Tuesday, July 1.
“Tickets will be distributed on a strict 'one ticket per season ticket applicant only' and all tickets must be collected in person by applicants from Quaker Retail. Season ticket application forms can be completed and paid for at the same time as purchasing your ticket for the Sunderland match.”
Darlington also revealed today that they have sold 295 season tickets.
Quaker Retail is open at the following times this week - Wednesday: 12pm-7pm; Thursday: 10am-2pm; Friday: 10am-8pm; Saturday: 9am-11am.
