BEER FESTIVAL: Darlington Snooker Club, on Northgate, Darlington, will host its annual beer festival featuring 12 beers made specially by local breweries for the event. The club’s building is 99 years old this year, so half pints are 99p for the weekend to mark the milestone. The club is open from 11am until late on Saturday and Sunday.
STORY TIME: The Saturday Story Club, featuring stories and crafts for children aged between four and seven, will be held at Darlington Crown Street Library on Saturday, March 1, between 10.30am and 11.30am. WARD SURGERY: The ward councillors for Heighington and Coniscliffe, Gerald Lee and Paul Crudass, will host a ward surgery for local people at Killerby and Summerhouse Village Hall between 10am and 11am on Saturday, March 1.
PIANO CONCERT: Anglo-Spanish pianist Anthony Zerpa-Falcon will perform a solo concert on behalf of the Darlington Piano Society at Central Hall, in the Dolphin Centre, on Sunday, March 2, at 3pm. Tickets are £12 and £6 for concessions, available from Dolphin Centre reception.
