MARKET visitors are invited to go flipping crazy next weekend.
A pancake cook-off will see keen cooks rustle up their secret recipes in Darlington on Sunday, March 2.
Taking place close to the Market Cross and in association with Darlington’s Sunday People’s Market, the contest is being held in aid of the Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS).
Between 12pm and 2pm, contestants will be timed as they make their batter and cook their pancakes.
Prizes including a scuba diving experience, tea hamper and meal voucher will be given out to those who finish in the fastest time.
Participants will be asked to donate an entry fee which will go towards supporting the work of GNAAS.
